Refund policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This page describes what applies to money and refunds when you use Sparbörsen: (A) the cashback service, which is free for you as a consumer, and (B) the right of withdrawal and complaints for the purchases you make at the stores.
A. The cashback service (consumers)
The service is free
Sparbörsen is entirely free to use. There is no subscription and no fee to be refunded. You never pay us anything: we earn money because the stores pay us when you shop with them.
Cashback that has been paid out
Money that has already been paid out to you is not reclaimed. The cashback is nevertheless conditional on the purchase standing: if the store cancels your order, or you return the item before the payout, the amount is removed from your balance, because it was never earned. If the return is registered only after the money has been paid out, the amount is offset against your future cashback instead, and we never send an invoice after the fact.
How the payout works
Approved cashback can be withdrawn once the balance is at least 100 kr. You receive a payment link from Revolut that you open and fill in yourself, so we do not collect your account number. The link is sent to the email address connected to your account. If a payout is left unclaimed, get in touch and we will send a new link.
If cashback is missing or wrong
If cashback for a purchase is missing, or the amount does not match, report the case to us through the contact form with the store, the date and the order number. We investigate it with the affiliate network and the store. A response from the store can take as long as 90 days.
B. Right of withdrawal and complaints (purchases at the stores)
14 days of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act
You make the purchase at the store, not with us. Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase, counted from the day you received the item. The right of withdrawal is exercised with the store, following their procedures, and certain goods and services are exempt under the act. If you withdraw from the purchase or return the item, the cashback the purchase gave lapses, as it was never earned.
Complaints and returns
Faulty goods, late delivery and returns are handled directly with the store. Sparbörsen is an intermediary and is not your counterparty in the purchase, so we cannot refund an item. If the store refunds the purchase, the cashback lapses as well.
If we do not reach an agreement
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your case, contact us first. If we do not reach an agreement, you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se), which examines consumer disputes free of charge. General consumer guidance is available from Hallå konsument, run by the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket, konsumentverket.se). Since we are established in Norway, you can also turn to ECC Sweden (Konsument Europa), which gives guidance on cross-border purchases within the EU/EEA. We take part in proceedings before ARN and follow the recommendations of the board.
C. Sparbörsen for business
The merchant subscription, where stores pay a monthly fee and a commission, is not yet offered in Sweden, and there is therefore no subscription to refund. If you run a store and want to work with us, that happens through the affiliate networks, see for partners.
